Fretted Instrument Rentals
Information on fretted instrument rentals classical guitars, steel string acoustic guitars, electric guitars and electric basses is listed below. We carry instruments from many different makers, under each instrument is a list including some of the more popular names. This list is not complete, and may vary depending on fluctuations in our instrument stock. Please note that many of our instruments have been rented previously. All previously used instruments are cleaned and restored to playing condition prior to rental. Currently, new instruments are only available from makers with an asterisk. If you are interested in another company not listed below, please call and speak to an associate.
Classical Guitars
All classical guitar rentals include an instrument, and a gig bag. Other accessories including extra strings, a book, a music stand, a capo and other items must be purchased separately. It is not recommended to use picks with a classical guitar, as they are meant to be played with the fingers. These guitars have nylon strings and laminate wood construction. They should not use steel strings as this can damage the instrument. Classical guitars are available from Yamaha* and Strunal*. Classical guitars with solid wood tops are available for serious students and professionals, please call for availability.
Electric Guitars and Basses
All electric guitar and bass rentals include an instrument, and a gig bag. Amplifiers may be rented with the instrument, but are not automatically included. Other accessories including extra strings, a book, a music stand, a capo and other items must be purchased separately. Electric guitars and basses are available from Dean*, Arbor, and Slammer; amplifiers are available from Tranzamp* and RMS*.
Steel String Acoustic Guitars
All steel string acoustic guitar rentals include an instrument, and a gig bag. Other accessories including extra strings, a book, a music stand, a capo and other items must be purchased separately. These guitars may have fully laminate construction, or a solid spruce top, depending on the model. Steel String acoustic guitars are available form Yamaha* and Jasmine*. Professional level guitars may be available for serious students and professionals, please call for availability.

Other fretted instruments including banjo and mandolin are available for rental. Please call for more information.
