Woodwind Instrument Rental
Information on woodwind instruments, including flute, clarinet and saxophone, is listed below. We carry instruments from many different makers, under each instrument is a list including some of the more popular names. This list is not complete, and may vary depending on fluctuations in our instrument stock. Please note that many of our instruments have been rented previously. All previously used instruments are cleaned and restored to playing condition prior to rental. Currently, new instruments are only available from makers with an asterisk. If you are interested in another company not listed below, please call and speak to an associate.
Flute (Closed Hole)
All flute rentals include an instrument, case, and cleaning rod. Other accessories including a music stand, cleaning swab, a book and other items must be purchased separately. All flutes in our rental fleet have hypo-allergenic silver plating. Student flutes are available from Armstrong*, Gemeinhardt, and Artley. A limited number of curved-head flutes are available for students that may need them, please call for availability.
Clarinet (Student Level)
All clarinet rentals include an instrument, case, cleaning swab, and cork grease. Other accessories including a book, reeds, a music stand and other items must be purchased separately. All student level clarinets are made of a durable synthetic material and have nickel-silver keys. Student clarinets are available from LeBlanc*, Blessing*, Artley and Selmer. Our stock does include a Plateau (closed keys) model for students that may need it, please call for availability.
Saxophone (Alto &Tenor)
All Saxophone rentals include an instrument, case, mouthpiece, cork grease, cleaning swab and basic neck strap. Other accessories including a book, reeds, a music stand and other items must be purchased separately. Alto saxophones are available from Selmer*, Conn, and Vito. Currently, a limited number of tenor saxophones are available from Vito*, please call for availability.
Other Woodwinds
Other woodwind instruments including oboe, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone and step-up flutes and clarinets are available. Please call for more information on these instruments.
